The snowshoe lending program is now AVAILABLE for the 2021/2022 season
The brand NEW Snowshoe lending program is kicking off Wednesday, November 17th. Let the fun in the snow begin!
Please email [email protected] to book a time slot to pick up snowshoes from the Lorette Arena located at 1420 Dawson Rd. We have limited quantities available, they will be lent out on a first-come, first-served basis. Program available for residents of Tache. (Adult and children's snowshoes will be available)
SNOWSHOES MUST BE PRE-BOOKED-- Pick up/drop off available
Wednesdays and Fridays 5pm - 7pm or Saturdays and Sundays 10am - 12pm
Sizes available include:
Kids: max 90lb
Medium: up to 200lb
Large: up to 250lbs
Cross Country Ski Trails
Update March 5, 2022 : Due to ongoing equipment breakdowns Monominto trail and the field at the Ste. Genevieve Community Centre were groomed this past weekend. We apologize for the inconvenience and hope we can have all trails groomed soon.
Ski Trail Maps
1.1km - the starting point is from the entrance to the backfield from the Ste. G Community Centre
Trail conditions: good - The Field has been groomed and packed. (the trail through the trees has not been groomed.
2.5 km - the starting point, the parking lot of the Landmark Kinsmen Community Centre
Trail Conditions: poor conditions : Trail has been blown in, there are also still some bare spot due to drifting and the winds.
Loop 1 - 2.1km - the starting point, adjacent to the outdoor rink (Dec. 30th)
Trail conditions - poor : Trail has blown in.
Loop 2 - 1.5 Km - loop on the west property (walking trail entrance SE corner from the outdoor rink through the trees)
Trail conditions: poor: Trail has blown in.
Loop 1 (Redline)
Loop 2 (white line, entrance walking trail has a blue star)

Trail begins at the parking lot, take blue trail to the left to the red trail.
Red trail connects to the Orange trail, and continues back to the blue trail to the parking lot.
Trail conditions: Good: Trail has been groomed with a track set for classic skiing.
Purple line is the tracked groomed trails, Orange and Red Trails are uniquely dedicated to cross-country skiers, the blue trail is a multi-use trail.
