The Rural Municipality of Taché first adopted an "Emergency Plan" in 1996. The Emergency Plan covers emergency situations such as hazardous product fires & spills, explosive hazards, dangerous goods, winter storm hazards, severe summer storms and river/overland flooding hazards.
In 2004 the Municipality of Tachés' plan was reviewed and updated to meet all 60 points of the Emergency Measures Organization Mandatory Plan Components.
In August of 2004, the Landmark Fire Hall and the Rural Municipality of Tachés' administrative building were both designated as the Municipality's Emergency Operations Centers.
