Accepted Methods of Payment

The Pre-authorized debit program is facilitated by the municipality.  Should you decide to join, we will withdraw from your bank account the amount indicated on each utility bill on the due date specified on that particular bill.  You will continue to receive utility bills as before, however if you provide us with your email address on the Utility Pre-authorized Debit Application form, you will receive future utility bills via our E-Send program.

  • Online banking with the following financial institutions:
    • All Credit Unions
    • Royal Bank of Canada
    • TD Canada Trust
    • Scotiabank
    • Bank of Montreal
 
Online Banking Setup Instructions
When setting up the RM of Tache with your online banking system for the first time,
1 - add a Payee
2 - enter "TACHE" in the search field
3 - select the option "Tache, RM – Utilities”, or wording similar to that
4 - enter your ten digit account number as it appears on your statement, but do not enter the decimal point.

Interac e-Transfers (learn more) 
Through online banking, set up a new contact using the email reception@rmtache.ca

*** Please do not use employee email addresses for e-transfers. 
Only reception@rmtache.ca can accept e-transfers***

Supply the following information in the message field within the e-transfer:

  • Contact Information, email address or phone number
  • Your Account Number

*no security question required as funds are auto-deposited directly into the RM bank account
