In 2004 the Municipality of Tachés' plan was reviewed and updated to meet all 60 points of the Emergency Measures Organization Mandatory Plan Components.

In August of 2004, the Landmark Fire Hall and the Rural Municipality of Tachés' administrative building were both designated as the Municipality's Emergency Operations Centers.
